ECYC unites 20 member organisations in 18 Council of Europe member states. Together, they reach 2 million young people in Europe every year.

All ECYC members:

- support and work with youth clubs, promote open youth work, and/or organise non-formal education with youth;
- work on a national or regional level as umbrella organisations;
- are free of political or religious structures.
