Job description

• Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of international projects with young people and youth workers, developed with and for our members (ex. lead project planning, budgeting, action plans and monitoring processes)
• Work together with the Secretary General in ensuring additional funding bids to support such projects
• Work closely with ECYC members and further develop the ECYC membership base
• Maintain regular communication with representatives of ECYC member organisations, as well as with partners and other stakeholders
• Assist with the organisation of General Assemblies, Bureau meetings, study visits etc.
• From time to time, represent the organisation externally

Profile

• You have at least 2 years of experience in project management in the European youth sector (Erasmus+, European Youth Foundation etc.) or as membership officer
• Motivated, quick to learn and assertive
• You are fluent in English
• You feel comfortable working in an international environment
• You have a very good knowledge of all Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
• You have good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• You can work in a team, as well as on your own

Highly valued

• Working experience in the field of youth work
• Good command of French

Terms and conditions

• Full time position
• Permanent contract
• Covered expenses for transportation
• Starting date: at any point in the last quarter of 2019 or beginning of 2020 the latest
