- The aim of Formaat is to spread and strengthen the youth club methodology. Our organisation addresses itself in the first place to its members.
- We offer guidance, support and protection of interests at all levels, starting from the belief in the power and possibilities of young people.
- Formaat wants to make young people critical and able-bodied against any form of patronising. Through the youth club methodology and an active pluralism, we want to offer possibilities to young people for their self-development. In addition Formaat wants to give them a place to experiment and train themselves in an active participation to a democratic society. The attention is focussed on the individuality and freedom of choice of young people. Starting from the youth club methodology the federation invites young people to take up a larger commitment.
