• Youth Academy is a non-profit organization that builds bridges between young people and society. It works with partner organizations in Finland and internationally to support young people’s own projects, ambitions, learning and participation.

Organization provides tools and training for adults who work with young people. They also actively co-operate with Finnish schools: their expertise is to create and spread participatory practices which encourage and promote active citizenship. Youth Academy’s projects are firmly based on the needs and trends of today’s society: themes range from climate change to sexual health and from personal economical skills to traffic safety.

• Youth Academy is known for Cross-sector  projects and partnerships:

Youth Academy’s 13 member organizations are some of the biggest Youth & Sports organizations in Finland. The projects are funded by organizations of different shapes and sizes: a number of public institutions, private companies & trusts.
